In order to ensure the well being, safety and security of your child at the end of the day dismissal, it is important to let the teacher know, in writing, if there will be any change in the end of the day dismissal routine.  Keeping a regular routine is in the best interest of your child.

School Bus Cancellations- check the website, twitter, listen to radio, OSTA site to learn if cancelled

posted Apr 3, 2018, 10:14 AM by Tania Gonsalves

The weather sometimes requires the cancellation of school buses. Buses are cancelled when the driving conditions make it unsafe to transport your children on the roads. Announcements with respect to bus cancellations are always broadcast over local radio stations beginning at 6:15 a.m. You can also verify the status of the school buses each day by visiting the Ottawa School Transportation Authority website: www.ottawaschoolbus.ca
Please listen to the radio, visit the website or check on Twitter instead of calling the school to find out if buses are running. If school buses are cancelled in the morning, that means they are cancelled for the full day and children will NOT be bussed home. If you drive your child to school, you will be expected to pick your child up at 3:00 p.m. During past inclement days, we have had many children at the office at dismissal time not sure how they were going to get home.
